| What is Dissemination, Outreach & Communication? |
| |
Dissemination is key to the success of the EGEE project. In order for the project to succeed, it is vital to actively promote and raise awareness of EGEE to a wide-range of audiences.
The Dissemination Plan is a communications strategy that identifies key messages, key audiences, the methods of communication to use and measures for success.
The lead partner of the Dissemination Activity is CERN and works closely with the NA2 partners across Europe.
NA2 produces a range of publicity material (information sheets, brochures, news releases etc.) and maintains both the public website and the NA2 technical pages. A number of localised EGEE websites have also been set-up by the NA2 partners: to see these local websites, please click on the different flags on the bottom banner of the EGEE public website.
The main NA2 responsibilities in the EGEE project include:
- Create, manage and promote the EGEE brand;
- Keep EGEE in the media spotlight;
- Produce a range of quality publicity material;
- Promote and publicise EGEE at key events;
- Create and manage a database of all EGEE presentations;
- With the User Information Group ensure that prospective users have easy access to the information they need;
- Set-up and manage EGEE websites;
- Organise the EGEE Conferences.
If you would like to find out more about NA2, please send us an email.
